The Importance of Social Anxiety

Up to 13% of people may experience some degree of social anxiety symptoms at some point in their lives, anywhere from mild all the way to severe. Only about 5% of people actually seek help for it and about a third wait 10 years to get help. We tend to then wait till we need help until we have really severe symptoms or just does not get help at all.
