Elixir is a new programming language. It's designed to be more approachable and easy to get into than TypeScript or GoLang. But it can take some getting used to, especially for people who are not familiar with the concept of an OOP system. The first thing we did was find out if any Tidescript devs were interested in learning Elixir. We found that Hussein was able to be productive in less than two weeks,. Obviously, he didn't understand Gen Service or OTP or the Beam or anything like that.
