There is starting to be this very clear use case that's emerging around luxury, hyperluxury. I can see if you're buying something that is really expensive and will last for a really long time, and it will probably be sold or resale. Having that transaction be marked on a public ledger, I can see how that starts to imbue new value into the physical object.
