Clue is such a funnier word. Clues and you collect those clues to figure out. Or like Sherlock Holmes, when he's on a mystery,. He's trying to gather different clues to help him solve the mystery. And we could also use this more informally to say like, Oh, I'll clue you in. If you're feeling lost about something, because I said, can I I'm going to give you some more information so you know what we're talking about. They test their hypotheses by striking up conversations. Hypothesis is singular and hypotheses is plural. There's other ones like this. It was one I really liked when I was a kid called clue.
