The flatdof community are incredibly intelligent. They know more about science than the scientists that were at the convention. What they tri to do throughout the entire event was rationalize their belief through scientific experimentation, through observation and through different bits of experiment. It's not just random guides throwing themselves up in rockets, although they do exist in the flat earth movement. Also people who are engaging with science, but distrust scientific institutions,. The institutions that have rejected them, or that have quite an insula understanding and that will continue to throw out the same ideas.
