Is There a Difference Between Acoustic and Electronic Music?

i was watching em this little documenttary though, there was a bit o footage of oscar sala playing it. And it just, you wouldn't have looked at it and thought, o yor electronic instrument. You know, there's this misconception of electronic music, al sinte, being kind of sterile and, you know, not expressive, maybe.
