There are more than 1,450 species of bats. Different bats are reservoirs for different families or different types of viruses. There's a really high diversity of coronaviruses in certain species of bats - especially rhinolophid bats. What is it that we can learn from the bat immune system that we could then translate into potential therapies or treatments for people?
