The Consequences of CSR
CSR is wonderful and it's done lots of great things especially during the pandemic we saw how useful it is in supporting a lot of civil society work. CSR regime which was started by previous government seemed to me like a tax by other by other name exactly where business houses were even suited to doing the work of civil society I wasn't very sure some surprising success stories have come out in these 10 years of CSR but I think the jury is still out on whether that's the greatest idea or if isn't it better to just tax that 2%.
