The Origins of Esperanto

There is an entire movie in Esperanto even if it's very bad Esperanto. So there a lot more Esperanto was spoken in this than is typically occurring in film and TV conlang. I wonder if his French accent is from, because he's from Quebec. My guess is that he was forced to study French in school for many years.
