What did George Tk do? You know? Yeah, I do. It was the head ancestor. Now there was another Mulan movie. In 2009, Mulan Rise of a Warrior was a live action Chinese movie. It is available on YouTube so you can watch it in its entirety as long as you don't mind reading it. I love it, Emily. I'm all about subtitles. Or, well, if you know Chinese, I guess you could watch it, right? But it was very epic-ish. It's not at all Disney find. It's very gritty. It was a big production movie, but think of it as a kind of a war movie. The battles were so, they were choreographed so beautifully. These guys would line up and their armor would just go, ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch and all of a sudden there's like a fortress of armor. Yeah, it was so cool, but did I happen to mention it was extremely violent. So if you have kids, you might not want that. It did start off with a traditional nod to the weaving. It followed a lot of the ballad. She didn't cut her hair, but she did steal her father's stuff. She was in battle for 12 years. She was known through the army that she was a woman. I'm just going to tell you a little bit of differences because we've talked about the story so much in the last whatever hour-ish. But they discovered she was a woman. Again, it was a big deal, but it wasn't a big deal. They handled it. There was a love interest with a prince, which added a little more emotional depth than a lot of the stories. And he actually pretends to be dead so that she becomes a better general. She's a general in this movie. So she pretends to be dead because he thinks she's getting too soft by being in love with him. So he fakes his death and she like grieves and then she comes out and she's seriously she's really, really an awesome military person. There is of course no dragon in it, but there is a brother character that's in the movie. And he kind of does the job that the dragon did in the animated version. He kind of gives her inspiration and it kind of pushes her on. And then she has to watch him die.
