Sometimes just putting a name to your emotions goes a long way. We like it when things are predictable, even though they're bad. When you have all these stress hormones going on, just take a moment and be like, ok, i'm feeling anxious right now. You automatically feel a little bit less anxious. Once you identify how your feeling is, to be able to say, well, this a friend or an enemy right now. And if it's helpful, embrace it. If it's harmful, then you say, ok, what do i do about this? And make a different choice.
