The War Machine Wants a War

Both parties have become addicted to what I call the warfare state, to the forever wars. And so we now have a bipartisan consensus in favor of every kind of really unbelievable mayhem that comes along as a result of the Washington deep state. Ukraine is crazy. What are we doing there? Funding, promoting, instigating this slaughter when it's very clear there's a solution here. The neocons have so demonized Putin that they can't see straight. This is the hard the matter until we break the lock of the warfare state,. All these other things that we might actually even disagree about will never be addressed in any productive or proper way.
