The Sign of Intelligence

i found it fascinating that megan felsroper makes an intentional effort not to distance herself from that megan. She can both acknowledge that she has different views to day, but reminding herself of former megan helps her continue to have empathy towards people who continue to think like old megan. The equanimity required to do that, i think, is extraordinary. I don't think, i can't imagine doing that, honestly.
