Pumped Hydro - The Number One Requirement Is a Large Head

If you go to the ANU global pumped hydro atlas you can just look for the red coloured dots on it and hone in and you'll see that they're all almost all of them are 600 to 800 metre heads. Queensland Pioneer Burdic and proposal is ahead of 600 metres. There's many many many sites far more than Australian needs that have got decent heads six eight hundred metres.
