The Role of Northern Theory in Education Research

A review of comparative education research will quickly reveal the dominance of northern theoretical tools and views. So, as one of the main problems here is that indigenous knowledge is not recognized as being as valuable as the knowledge coming out of the global north. This is indeed a matter of geopolitics it's about where expertise is seen to lie where labor and institutions are funded.
