How to Cool a Patient With a Heart Attack

An ice bath is the best way to do this. Within minutes you can get patients from 109 degrees down to near normal thermia. Once you hit 101 or 38.3, take the patient out of the ice bath and that's going to keep them from becoming hypothermic. Another issue that pops up is the difficulty in separating heat stroke and sepsis.
