Juan says this scheme would be for more than 6 million people and cost 1.2% of the gross domestic product. It would be funded through a mix of taxing, big landowners and companies. He also wants to cut the energy subsidies and gas and electricity which costs the government millions of dollars every year. The universal basic income is one idea about how to tackle inflation. Presidential hopeful economist Javier Mille has another which is starting to gain traction with voters. With his unruly mop of hair piercing blue eyes he's been dubbed the Trump or Boris Johnson of Argentina.
