How do these new testament letters fit into its historical context, the socio economic world stage. How were these letters written as literary pieces, and how do you understand them as literary pieces? And then we looked more specifically, the context of the community who received the letters. Those are all layers of contexts that are behind the letter. They 're the contexts out of which the letter emerges. This series is going to hone in on a new type of context that were ging to call literary context. What we're focusing on now is not the context behind the letters, but the actually written work from beginning to end.
