How to Get to Newman From Perth

The Pilbara desert is located in the middle of Australia. The best way to get there is by flying into Perth or taking an extra hour and a half flight on up to Newman. You can also drive, but it's about 12 hours so most Australians think that's too far. There are lots of hiking trails as well as waterfalls for swimming.
