The BlackRock Investment Institute recommends breaking up traditional asset allocation buckets and moving away from broad allocations to public equities and bonds. The Bloomberg US 6040 portfolio index is up by 6.3% this year. That's after tumbling by almost 17% in 2022, which was the biggest annual drop in over a decade.
