The Blackface Scandal

The first three guys in line to be governor who were all Democrats could not like, you know, confirm with like precision that they also never wore blackface. So there was this idea that if he stepped down because of it, they could end up with a Republican governor and get photos of the next two guys as well. Oh, it was worse than that because the lieutenant governor of Virginia at the time, Justin Fairfax, the, youknow, uh, was, um, also a sex criminal. The depth chart wasn't great for them. Like the guy, like the lieutenant governor was a black guy when Northern was dribble.
