The US and Chinese Military Aren't Talking
Since Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, China's military leaders have been mostly silent. The exact number is classified, but our best estimate is that there are about a dozen nuclear-powered fast-attack submarines patrolling the Pacific at any time. How much more advanced is US submarine technology than Chinese capability? A generation. And by a generation, I think, 10 or 20 years,. broadly, I don't really talk in depth about submarine capabilities. It's the silent service.
