The Risks of Vertical Integration

Five years ago, there was already a rich and mature ecosystem built up around AV. When we started Auto, we really had to think about building just about everything ourselves. And then you fast forward two years and there's this huge ecosystem that's starting to be multiple LIDAR companies who are competing. So it's interesting that five years ago, right now it seems like not being incredibly integrative, seems to be working their favor on the, certainly on the cash per inside, right? But five years ago,. that's a huge risk.
