Why Is This Messaging So Pervasive in the Republican Platform?

Rep. Steve Israel says republicans have not done enough to expose the lie that they care about women and children. The GOP is trying to disenfranc people in red states who want their rights vindicated, he says. He wants congress to reign in the power of the supreme court so it can't decide issues such as abortion or marriage equality.
