Carbonari Symbolism

The carbonari were a secret society in southern italy. They took on heavy doses of the symbolism that pervaded other secret societies. Some say they were started by the freemasons, who then ret con to history for them. Others explicitly said that they were a branch of the bavarian illuminati. But how and why just opens a flood of questions we don't have answers to. It all goes back to atlantis just heads up.
