What Is Roger De Beaumont?

Roger de Beaumont was with William throughout most, if not all, of his affairs of state in Normandy. He wasn't the recipient of huge sums of lands and titles in England. His sons acquired quite a bit of English land from William. So what gives here? If even his sons were getting properties, why didn't Roger Beaumont get a big payout from this heist?
