The Insanity of Software Development

I've had a very similar experience, like a lot of similar experiences where I spend a long time working on something. And then ultimately the projects just get thrown away and everything was for not. My term for those projects has been digging holes and filling them back in again. So it has turned me intolike a cynical person in terms of that kind of work. It's breathtaking just the sheer insanity of that whole approach to software development because it could never ever work.
