Acute Kidney Injury Definition

There is no clear understanding of acute kidney injury and confusing with acute renal failure. In 2012, we have a standard definition of 0.3 milligrams per delivery rise in 48 hours or doubling of creatinine for seven days or hospitalizing. That's acute kidney injury. It used to be used interchangeably acute renal failure, acute tibular injury.
