Donald Trump could be as many as eight votes shy of becoming speaker next year. McCarthy is going to have a lot of people coming from his thought, namely Jim Jordan. If you're looking at 8% inflation, $5 gasoline, and you're still going to keep the majority party in Congress, it is a huge referendum. Republicans need to focus on serious issues and have serious answers about bringing gas prices down.
