A Hundredth Birthday
The King finally got to send his first batch of a hundredth birthday cards after they'd been suspended for a month following the Queen's death. A 100-year-old Ruth Park Pearson from Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, was delighted when her card arrived in the post. But I think what she was thinking was... Oh, you kidding me? It was my birthday four weeks ago. And I didn't even get the right royal.
