The things you are deciding to day demonstrate the type of wisdom at work in your life right now. Jacob believes that real power was in self sacrificial love for others. Pure, peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit. Impartial and sincere, these characteristics have nothing to do with naivete they are hard to acquire and hard to maintain. They only appear where there has been a steady habit of prayer and self discipline. Wisdom from above is not passive. It isn't lazy. And it cannot be obtained or carried out without incredible discipline and self denial.
