The Davidic Covenant and a House Building

The rock is going to be an analogy or echo to the temple because, you know, he builds on Mount Moriah on the rock. Unfortunately, there's not a direction that doesn't have storms. David constantly calls God his rock, in the Psalms is his refuge. The idea of the rock being a refuge seems to be very Davidic. So the Davidic covenant and a house building go side by side or hand in hand.
