What's Going on in the Financial Industry?

In the financial industry, if something goes wrong, the bank can put your money back. But you can't give somebody back privacy that's been stolen and copied. And so we're seeing a lot of these technologies that have been pioneered in other realms being applied to digital media. It's not as simple as just tracing where the leak first happened because it's kind of that long tail of after effects where really interesting and strange things start to happen.
