The Ghost of a Pale Man

When we were about 10 years old, a man with long shaggy blonde hair and a pale face who looked like he was in his late 20s or maybe early 30s, moved into a house on my friend's street. To us at the time he didn't even seem creepy. My friend's mother saw us talking to him in the street and afterwards she politely warned us to stay away from him. I overheard her talking to my mom and saying that there's just something a bit off about him. He was living in a big house all by himself which he apparently inherited. One very hot Saturday afternoon, my friend and I were in his front yard shooting water pistols at each other
