SNL has had I think a blind spot on youth culture from the diversity standpoint. Lauren defers a lot to the culture stuff like what is okay and not okay, says David Bianculli. The question is does that make it a better show or a worse show? "I feel like there's a lot of leeway with some jokes and some sketches they could do," he said.
