Is This Your Forever Home?

I'm worried about potentially being under water a mortgage if home values go down, and how long i would need to stay in the home just to break even. Did i make a mistake buying in this market? If it isn't a forever home? Sidenote, my real estate agent is reputable and said my offer was fair and not out of line for the property.
