Is the Great Man's View of History True?
I'd like to see Ian Kershaw's personality in power, which asks the question. How much is somebody just sort of riding the wave of history and how much are they actually shaping the world? And I don't think he comes down on one side or the other. Michael, how about you? Well, a book that I really want to read and I haven't bought was Other Lands by Tom Pader. You know, it sounds absolutely incredible effort of imagination. He's very young, gifted biologist. It sounds like a tour de force. Because Christmas presents should be books.
