As Clean as a Whistle?

In high school, both my sister and I would throw parties at her parents' house when they were out of town. We would clean up really well, like scrub top to bottom,. Everything in the house, the floors, the counters, the bathrooms, every shelf dusted - everything just perfectly clean. And not like our house was ever very dirty, but my parents would come back and think, this is as clean as a whistle. Only once did they get really mad.
