Is It the French or the Belgians?
It's funny because often the narrative ends with the British is it Alexander going up down the beach asking if is anybody there? And they fight on the French. Interestingly enough it is the French that fight the two major envelopment threats to the British expeditionary falls to a standstill. The Belgians actually performed quite well, I mean we always say ah the Belgians stabbed us in the back and all the rest of it. You don't see that you don't see French resistance mentioned in many accounts.
