The Importance of Deliberate Practice in Adult Learning

There's this idea that when you're learning something and you learn it in different phases. Sometimes the deliberate practice of a phase of learning is kind of the second phase. So first develop the interest, then develop your skills and your mastery through deliberate practice. Kids are not the best at deliberate practice generally. It's something that they need to learn.
