What Is a No Crime Wrongful Conviction?
Wright: I didn't even know they were a thing. What a no crime wrongful conviction is is that some one, an innocent person, is wrongly convicted of a crime that literally never happened. One third of all the people that we know who've been wrongly convicted were convicted of crimes that never happened. It literally makes up one third of all known exonerations.
