How Did Revenue Sharing Hurt Blackbuster?
Revenue sharing was a legitimate alternative, because you could get a lot of movies in tha store. But it did drive up their cost and re ose their margins. It helped reverse the image of block buster being really terrible at having ne releases in stock in the first few weeks when you wanted them.
