Lime was supposed to launch a trial in certain suburbs in Sydney last year. In Sydney, it's illegal to write e-scooters on any public road or footpath. Every jurisdiction has all different kind of rules about how scooters can be used in Sydney. But when I went to Berlin and got to whip out my Lime app and jump on a damn e-scooter on the other side of the world without having to enter any new credit card details, sign up to anything, that was hella convenient.
