Introduction

Every single time i talk about home ownership, and even a slightly negative light, i receive messages and comments that are quite nasty. There's something about this home ownership discussion that tends to just quickly become condescending. And frankly, i don't think the math of ownership can support that level of you're an idiot if you don't buy mentality. The more apt sentiment is probably you won't lose money on your house, necessarily, but you're lucky to break even considering the constant outflow of cash.
