In physics we're often tackling problems that are basically impossible. We don't know how to get started and so what we usually do is we begin with the simplest dumbest thing which often involves baseless extrapolation. The question here is what would an alien civilization look like? Can we extrapolate from human civilization? So to the end the podcast will be tackling. How powerful can a civilization get?
