Sally South came out as gay two years after leaving the Mormon church. Her father, John, says he didn't know what was going on until she told him in a parking lot. "I had prayed so hard that my kids would forgive me for the poor way that I acted when they left the church" The family has since reconciled and Sally is now happily married to another woman.
