The Walled City

The walled city was an illegal place when Britain and China in the 19th century made the agreement about Hong Kong being ceded to Britain. It's a bit like the city of London within Kowloon. They said we don't care whether it's British or Chinese. We have our own government. So they were excluded from the treaty. A few years later, Britain said to China,. After all, we'd like to include the wall city. Take, remove the exclusion clause from the treaty and China said what treaty? Feeling treated about Hong Kong anyway.
