Gloria Borger: The softlifers idea has been hijacked. She says anything good black women create is eventually co-opted, repackaged and sold back to the masses by white people. "Self-care" was a term coined by Audra Lorde in her 1988 book A Burst of Light. Now most Americans have no idea what self-care was originally supposed to be about or who it came from," she said.
