The Book of Numbers and Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers Overlap in Time
The events of exodus, leviticus and numbers are not in chronological order. While the ordering within the books is broadly chronological, like several other biblical books, events are occasionally presented out of historical sequence. The result is a fuller sense of what was taking place in the establishment of the covenant, the tabernacle, the priesthood, the sacrificial system and the nation at sina.
