Taxi Drivers and the Taxi Brains Project
Researchers in the taxi brains project are hoping to investigate. Back in two thousand published an article showing that the posterior part, owas the back of the head, in the hippocampus, it was actually larger in london taxi driver compared to non drivers. 22 years after the discovery, number one thing we're exploring is going back and trying now, in 20 22, to replicate these key findings. Can we see this again in a larger cohort taxi drivers? And we can look at more detail. We can look and see which bits of the hippocampus, if there are bits, that are particularly changed in inland and taxi drivers. So we want to know more detailed.
